An unusually large number of professional and amateur soccer players have collapsed recently.
Emergency situations have come up again and again in the last few weeks and months:
- Game abandoned due to cardiac arrest of the referee in a game of Lauber SV (Donauwörth district)
- A 17-year-old football player from JSG Hoher Hagen has to be reanimated in Hannoversch Münden during the game.
- The Gifhorn amateur player Marvin Schumann has to be reanimated after a cardiac arrest.
- An assistant referee of a Kreisliga Augsburg game in Emersacker collapses with heart problems.
- A district league player of the SpVgg. Oelde II has to be revived by his opponent.
- A player from the Birati Club Münster collapses in a regional league game against FC Nordkirchen II.
- 17-year-old soccer player Dylan Rich dies of a heart attack during a game in England .
- The goalkeeping coach of SV Niederpöring suffers a heart attack after a training session.
- Lucas Surek (24) from the BFC Chemie Leipzig club is unable to attend due to suspicion of a heart muscle disorder .
- Kingsley Coman (25) from FC Bayern Munich has to undergo heart surgery after a cardiac arrhythmia .
- Trainer Dirk Splitsteser from SG Traktor Divitz collapses dead on the sidelines .
- Rune Coghe (18) of the Belgian club Eendracht Hoglede (Belgium) suffers a heart attack during a game.
- At the World Cup qualification match between Germany and Serbia in Chemnitz, an English line judge with heart problems has to be carried off the pitch.
- Team leader Dietmar Gladow from Thalheim (Bitterfeld) suffers a fatal heart attack before a game .
- The 53-year-old football coach Antonello Campus collapses while training with his youth team in Sicily .
- Anil Usta from VfB Schwelm (Ennepetal) collapses on the field with heart problems .
- Dimitri Liénard from FC Strasbourg collapses with heart problems in a Ligue 1 game .
- ASPTT Caen’s Diego Ferchaud (16) suffers cardiac arrest in a U-18 league game in Saint-Lô .
- Belgian soccer player Jente Van Genechten (25) suffers cardiac arrest in the early stages of a cup game.
- The Belgian amateur soccer player Jens De Smet (27) from Maldegem suddenly suffers a heart attack during the game and dies a little later in hospital.
- A 13-year-old soccer player from the Janus Nova club from Saccolongo (Italy) collapses on the field with cardiac arrest.
- Andrea Astolfi, the sports director of Calcio Orsago (Italy), suffers a heart attack after returning from training. He dies at the age of 45.
- Abou Ali (22) collapses with cardiac arrest during a two-tier game in Denmark .
- Fabrice N’Sakala (31) from Besiktas Istanbul collapses on the field without any action from the opponent

Former Pro Calls For “Investigation” After Another Soccer Player Suddenly Collapses

A former professional Premier League footballer has called for an investigation after yet another player suddenly collapsed in the middle of a match last night.
Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck fell to the ground during his team’s game at Reading and had to be taken off on a stretcher after receiving lengthy treatment and being given an oxygen mask.
The 30-year-old Scottish international “went down unchallenged before team-mates quickly waved medics on,” reports BBC News.
Fleck was taken to hospital where he is said to be in good condition.
The player becomes yet another unfortunate addition to a lengthy list of footballers and other top athletes who have suddenly collapsed on the field of play in recent months.

Myocarditis scars the heart tissue. Electrical conduction has to follow s specific path in the heart muscle to pump for a coordinated and efficient heart pumping. If the heart muscle is scarred, the electrical conduction has to find an alternate path.
This creates a condition called arrhythmia or abnormal heart rhythm, which worsens when the heart has to beat rapidly, like running. Fatal arrhythmias like ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation can happen and lead to sudden deaths.

Sithipol Bovornkittipaisal: 26-Year-Old Dies 1 Day After Receiving Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Investigation Launched

SAMUT PRAKAN, THAILAND – A man has died at his home in Muang district late on Tuesday night just 1 day after receiving the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Sithipol Bovornkittipaisal, 26, was found dead on the ground floor of his home. A local investigator has announced that a probe into his sudden death has been launched.
Police were called to Sithipol’s home at about 12:30 am, Pol Capt Adithes Phocharoen, a duty investigator said on Wednesday. Sithipol’s mother Sopa Khotpakdi, said her son had received the first dose of Sinovac vaccine in early September.
Sithipol went to Synphaet Theparak Hospital on Tuesday afternoon and was inoculated with the Moderna vaccine. He returned home with no sign of side effects, she said. However, late on Tuesday night, while playing on his phone on the second floor of the house, Sithipol began experiencing chest pain and breathing difficulties.

Protein Sequences in SARS-CoV-2 can Cause Neurologic Symptoms

An international collaboration of scientists isolated protein sequences from the SARS-CoV-2 that can cause damage to nerve cells. The proteins are from the virus’s open reading frame (ORF), namely ORF6 and ORF10.
Both ORFs were found to be highly toxic to nerve cells. The toxicity is similar to what amyloid proteins do in Alzheimer’s disease.
These findings help explain why some people have persistent neurologic symptoms after COVID-19. They can be memory loss, sensory confusion (example: previously pleasant smells become fixed as unpleasant), cognitive and psychiatric issues, and headaches. Only time will tell if COVID-19 will bring about dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.
Effectiveness of BNT162b2 (Pfizer) and ChAdOx1 (AstraZeneca) against SARS-CoV-2 household transmission – a prospective cohort study in England

Results show that the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are less protective for the Delta variant, which is now the dominant strain than the Alpha variant.
- Delta variants were 4.6 times more transmissible than the Alpha
- Contacts older than 18 years were 2.0 times more likely to acquire infection than children.
- The effectiveness of two doses of Pfizer vaccine against Delta transmission was 31% and 42% for AstraZeneca ChAdOx1 – similar to their efficacy for Alpha.
- Pfizer’s protection against infection with Alpha was higher (71%) than for Delta (24%).
- AstraZeneca’s protection against Alpha (26%) was higher than for Delta (14%)
Durability of SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies from Natural Infection in Children and Adolescents

The study group involved 5-to-19 years old who were tested for antibodies. The result showed that 57.9% of the sample were negative for infection-induced antibodies after eight months of testing, suggesting that a significant proportion of children have not acquired a natural infection.

On Nov. 2, the members of ACIP voted 14–0 to recommend Pfizer’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) COVID shot for children 5 –11 years old.
Committee members readily voted “yes” despite many unknownsabout long-term safety, including a complete lack of data on the risk of heart problems like the ones experienced by some adolescents who received COVID vaccines.
Neither the disgracefully unscientific vote nor CDC Director Rochelle Walensky’s prompt endorsementcame as a surprise. Though billed as “independent,” the 14 ACIP members — like the 17 members of FDA’s VRBPAC who voted the same way the previous week — have deep ties to pharma, with careers that hinge on promoting and rubber-stamping the United States’ destructive one-size-fits-all vaccination agenda.
Describing the VRBPAC and ACIP meetings as “a total sham,” Children’s Health Defense President Mary Holland said, “Sadly, approval from these committees means nothing in terms of safety.”
Political scientist Toby Rogers agreed, stating the ACIP meeting “was not a scientific review. It was banal bureaucrats announcing plans for a Blitzkrieg and the bought white coats were cheering them on.”
