Symptoms of COVID-19 differ among people. The COVID virus mutates, and the symptoms they produce can present differently from the original Wuhan strain. Vaccination status alters the immune response of the host and can also change the COVID symptoms.

Those are the exact same symptoms of a bad cold and or flu. How do we know the difference? Or do the flu and cold no longer exist?
Good question. The symptoms are the same because the SARS-CoV-2 also causes an upper respiratory infection in the beginning. The flu and the cold viruses are still around. If someone is a high risk, they should be more careful and get tested early. Doctors usually test for the flu, COVID-19, and other respiratory infections. That’s how you will know the difference.
