The omicron variant is now in 30 countries. The other names for omicron are #GR/484A and B.1.1.529
This report serves as a reference only and not to cause panic or anxiety. Underdeveloped countries may have more omicron variants but may not have the means to test many samples.
What is essential to know is the omicron variant’s mortality rate, especially in people without comorbidities. That data should come out in a few weeks. I have not heard of any reported omicron related deaths
