Is Luc Montagnier Correct About the Variants Showing Up After Mass Vaccination?

Luc Montagnier is a Nobel Prize-winning French virologist for his discovery of HIV.

Back in May 2021, Montagnier had an interview that went viral. He warned about the spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants if mass vaccination was done a pandemic. The RAIR Foundation reported the interview. Below are excerpts from the interview.

How do you view the mass vaccination program? Mass vaccination compared to treatments that work and aren’t expensive.

—It’s an enormous mistake, isn’t it? A scientific error as well as a medical error. It is an unacceptable mistake. The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants.

—For the China virus, there are antibodies, created by the vaccine. What does the virus do? Does it die or find another solution?

—The new variants are a production and result from the vaccination. You see it in each country, it’s the same: the curve of vaccination is followed by the curve of deaths.

—I’m following this closely and I am doing experiments at the Institute with patients who became sick with Corona after being vaccinated. I will show you that they are creating the variants that are resistant to the vaccine.

Later in the interview, Montagnier said,

—It is clear that the new variants are created by antibody-mediated selection due to the vaccination. OK?

Is Luc Montagnier correct? Did the mass vaccination produce SARS-CoV-2 variants?

The answer is in the image below from GISAID. GISAID enables rapid and open access to epidemic and pandemic virus data.

Below are the SARS-CoV-2 variants across the world. It is a time scale from November 2020 to September 2021.

The color code for the variants is listed on the left side. The number of variants is represented by the dots on the right with the corresponding color code.

I marked the date of Luc Montagnier’s interview as LM interview. It is around mid-May.

You can see the explosion of variants after the interview date. The vaccination started at the end of December 2020. It took time before many people got vaccinated and for the SARS-CoV-2 to adapt to the vaccine-induced antibodies to form new variants.

Hmm. It looks like the Nobel Prize Winner is correct. The COVID-19 mass vaccination led to SARS-CoV-2 variants.

But there’s something else.

Montagnier also predicted there would be antibody-dependent enhancements.

Should we be vaccinating during a pandemic?

—It’s unthinkable.

—They’re silent… many people know this, epidemiologists know it.

—It is the antibodies produced by the virus that enable an infection to become stronger.

—It’s what we call Antibody Dependent Enhancement, which means antibodies favor a certain infection. The antibody attaches to the virus, from that moment it has the receptors, the antibodies, we have them in the macrophage etc.

—It pokes the virus and not accidentally, but because of the fact that they’re linked to the antibodies.

Will Luc Montagnier be right again? We will know for sure this coming winter.
