Pfizer shot lowers semen concentration and impairs sperm cells for months

The peer-reviewed study Covid-19 vaccination BNT162b2 temporarily impairs semen concentration and total motile count among semen donors was published in the journal Andrology this month.

The results showed a decrease in the semen concentration and sperm motility for several months after two Pfizer shots.

Background

Semen carries the sperm cells that fertilize the egg to produce an embryo that develops into a fetus. Successful implantation depends on enough semen concentration, normal-shaped sperm heads, and brisk motility of the sperm cells.

After all, the sperm cells must travel from the vaginal canal to the center of the cervix. Up the uterus (sometimes against gravity), find and wiggle themselves thru the fallopian tubes to get to the ovaries and find the right egg or ova that is ready to be fertilized for that month.

That’s why millions of sperm cells are needed at the beginning. Millions don’t make it. It is the survival of the fittest. In the end, the best sperm cell wins.

What’s a normal semen analysis?

Before we look at the abnormal, here are the World Health Organization standards for a routine semen analysis pertinent to the study.

  1. Ejaculate volume – A semen volume of 2 to 5 milliliters (ml) is considered normal. The lower limit is 1.5
  2. Total sperm count and Sperm concentration – more than 20 million per ml.
  3. Motility of sperm cells – Cut off value of 50%

The Study Method

The research examined 220 samples from 37 semen donors from three sperm banks. All donors have been vaccinated with the Pfizer BNT162b2 COVID-19. 1-3 semen samples per donor were obtained in four phases:

  1. Time 0 T0 prevaccination baseline (control)
  2. T1 – 15 to 45 days post-injection
  3. T2 – 75 – 120 days
  4. T3 – over 150 days 

Results:

T2 (75 – 120 days)   

  1.  15.4% decrease in sperm concentration (normal 20 million)
  2.  22.1% reduction in the Total Motile Count (TMC) compared to T0. (Normal: 50%)

The paper’s abstract says that the semen concentration and sperm motility improved back to normal at T3 after five months. But their data says otherwise.

The table below shows the percentage and absolute change compared to T0. 

After more than five months (T3), sperm concentrations decreased to -15.9, sperm motility was -4.1, and Total Motile Count was -19.4%. All parameters are abnormal.

This study is another example of the numerous research I have read and written about that state their results differently from their data. That way, they can conclude that the “vaccines” are safe and effective. Many will only look at the abstract, parrot the results, and not even look at the whole study and the data.

The authors could get away with their conclusion using “median values.” I give credit to Alex Berenson. In his article about this subject, (emphasis added)

To play down this unpleasant reality, the researchers instead focused on the fact that median rather than average counts did recover after five months. (The median is the numerical midpoint of a series; If a series goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 20, the median will be 3, but the average will be 30 divided by 5, or 6.)

Both the median and the average can be valuable statistics. Using the median rather than the average will hide extreme outliers. In this case, the fact that the average fell much more than the median is a sign that some of the men probably had near-zero sperm counts in both the second and third time periods – and that fact is arguably more important than the median change.

Pfizer’s effect on sperm cells IS longer in duration than neutralizing antibodies.

Another thing is that the above data shows that the adverse effects on sperm motility and semen concentration last for at least five months.  That is longer than the duration of neutralizing antibodies it elicits since they wane in two months.

How can the Pfizer jab affect the sperm cells?

The SARS-CoV-2 virus can infect human testes because its cells have ACE2 receptors. Thus, The SARS-CoV-2 infects the human testes lower testosterone and can be sexually transmitted from severe COVID-19 survivors.

Another proof is that the Japanese biodistribution study of BNT162b2 shows that the Pfizer jab can go to the testes. Thus, any immune response generated will also go to the ACE2 receptors in the testicles.

Other sperm researches that need scrutiny

Studies by Gonzales et al. [2] and Barda and colleagues [3] on the effects of the Pfizer shot on semen and sperm motility conclude that the modified RNA shots do not affect the semen and the sperm quality. However, both studies only looked at the second specimen 72 days after the second shot.

Is it a coincidence that both cut off their study at 72 days? Or did Pfizer instruct the authors to limit the study duration since Pfizer already knows the outcome?

For the study by Gat et al., 72 days is still at T1, where the sperm cell qualities have not yet declined. If they prolonged the study duration, I bet they will show poorer sperm quality.

Poor sperm quality will worsen the already declining fertility rates globally. It would be interesting to see the birth rates for the coming years.
