Mask up, even in your own house, city orders

Santa Cruz, California has enacted a mask mandate that controversially even requires face coverings in private homes, regardless of vaccination status.

The order, which went into effect this week, comes in response to rising Covid-19 cases in the city. The indoor masking requirement covers not only public spaces and businesses, but also private homes.

Residents are required to mask up, regardless of vaccination status, if anyone is in the home who does not regularly live there – something that is highly common during the holiday season.

If one is around people from other households, it is recommended they only remove their mask when eating or drinking.

The strict health guidelines have sparked outrage among some, with critics describing the mandates for private homes as government overreach and an attempt to make people “as miserable as possible” at Thanksgiving.

Know Your Risk During COVID-19

The Texas Medical Association COVID-19 Task Force and Committee on Infectious Diseases have created a chart that ranks activities on their risk level for COVID-19.

The levels are based on input from the physician members of the task force and the committee, who worked from the assumption that – no matter the activity – participants were taking as many safety precautions as they can.

Study shows porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) is capable of zoonotic transfer

The article describes a coronavirus that infects pigs called porcine delta coronavirus (PDCoV). It was recently isolated from 3/369 (0.8%) children in Haiti.

Implications

The recent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caught the world off guard and has claimed over 5.1 million lives to date. In order to be better prepared to tackle such unprecedented pandemics, it is important to study viruses that are capable of interspecies transmission and have the potential to harm humankind.

Therefore, research such as that which is presented in the current study is crucial in helping the medical fraternity prepare better for unforeseen global emergencies. Genomic analysis of such viruses can also yield improved therapeutic and vaccine targets.

Overall, the current study highlights the potential for evolutionary change and adaptation leading to human infections by coronaviruses outside of the previously recognized human-associated coronavirus groups, particularly in settings where there may be close human-animal contact.

“This is not about financial reward, this is not about my job, this is about allowing physicians like myself, across the country, to do what physicians do, to prescribe medications at the bedside that they believe are most effective for their patients.  We should recognize that in hospitals, up to about 30% of medications are used off-label every single day, and it’s just part of regular medical care.” Dr Paul Marik.

On Saturday 20 November, the Chief Nurse of the University Medical Center, Ljubljana Clinical Center, who deals with the administration of vaccine vials and manages everything, quit her job, went in front of TV cameras and took out vaccine bottles.

She showed the gathered journalists the codes on the bottles, each with the final number 1, 2, or 3 in the code, and then explained the meaning of these numbers:

Number 1 is placebo, saline.

Number 2 is the classic mRNA “vaccine”

Number 3 is an RNA stick containing the ONC gene, related to adenovirus, which contributes, among other things, to the development of cancer.

Taiwan halts 2nd-dose BioNTech vaccinations for ages 12-17 amid concerns of myocarditis

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) head Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) said on Wednesday (Nov. 10) that a panel of experts has decided to suspend administering second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) COVID vaccine to children 12-17 years old amid concerns it may increase the risk of myocarditis.

Cases of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the outer lining of the heart) have been reported after BNT vaccination of children between 12 and 17 years of age. According to U.S. statistics, the risk of youths experiencing myocarditis after receiving the second BNT dose is 10 times higher than after the first dose, CNA reported.

I believe that any doctor or nurse who gives one of the mRNA covid jabs after today will in due course be struck off the appropriate register and arrested.

The journal Circulation is a well-respected publication. It’s 71-years-old, its articles are peer reviewed and in one survey it was rated the world’s no 1 journal in the cardiac and cardiovascular system category.

I’m going to quote the final sentence of the abstract which appears at the beginning of the article. This is all I, you – or anyone else – needs to know.

`We conclude that the mRNA vacs dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy and other vascular events following vaccination.’

That’s it. That’s the death bell for the covid-19 mRNA jabs.

Erie County mask mandate for all indoor, public locations takes effect

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On Monday afternoon, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced that a mask mandate will take effect Tuesday.

Effective at 6 a.m., masks must be worn in all public, indoor facilities. This is in response to the rise in cases in Erie County.

It’s part of a four-phase plan Poloncarz announced on Monday. But with this plan, Poloncarz hopes to not reach the remaining phases.

“None of us wanted to do phase one…but we feel we must,” Poloncarz said.

He says that if the mask mandate does not result in a decrease in cases and hospitalizations, further phases could take effect.

Phase two calls for vaccinations, phase three would mean capacity restrictions and phase four would mean shutdowns.

Fauci admits COVID vaccine efficacy is failing, as FDA, CDC approve boosters

India logs slimmest rise in COVID-19 cases in 543 days despite festivals

NEW DELHI, Nov 23 (Reuters) – India reported 7,579 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, the smallest rise in one-and-a-half-years despite huge festival gatherings in recent weeks, thanks to rising vaccinations and antibodies from prior infections.

The country of 1.35 billion celebrated Durga Puja in October and Diwali this month, during which millions of people shopped, travelled and met family, mostly without masks. Mask-wearing is nearly non-existent outside the big cities.

“Even after Diwali, we are not seeing a surge,” said M.D. Gupte, a former director of the state-run National Institute of Epidemiology, attributing it mainly to the presence of antibodies in a huge majority of Indians through natural infection.

“I think we are much safer now.”

74.1% of people in the Central African Republic have anti-COVID-19 antibodies from natural exposure to the virus. Their vaccination rate is only 6.5%.

Coronavirus: Australia reopening to skilled workers, Japanese and South Koreans

Sniffer dogs can detect coronavirus from 15 other pathogens, German study says

Sniffer dogs are able to distinguish the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus from 15 other viral respiratory pathogens with high accuracy, according to a new study.

Research from an international team of researchers led by the German University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover (TiHo) shows for the first time that the substances the animals smell in people infected with the coronavirus are specific for Sars-CoV-2.

Dogs, with their extraordinary sense of smell, have been put to use in some public spaces such as airports during the pandemic to help reduce infections.

According to the study, published in the Frontiers in Medicine journal in November, the sniffer dogs do not smell the viruses themselves, but volatile organic compounds that are produced during metabolic processes after a virus infection.

Israel begins giving COVID shots to children aged 5 to 11

The Saginaw Township Community Schools District announced last week that every single one of the schools in the district, including five elementary schools, one middle school, and two high schools, would all have to shut down for a day, because “a large number” of their staff had had “a negative reaction to the COVID booster shot given at a voluntary clinic over the weekend.
