AN investigation has been launched into a spike in deaths among newborn babies in Scotland.
Official figures reveal that 21 infants died during September within 28 days of birth, causing the neonatal mortality rate to breach an upper warning threshold known as the ‘control limit’ for the first time in at least four years.
Control and warning limits are designed to flag up to public health teams when neonatal, stillbirth or other infant deaths are occurring at unexpectedly high or low levels which may not be due to chance.
Concerns have previously been raised about the potential impact of Covid on maternity services and maternal wellbeing, but it is the first time since the pandemic began that neonatal deaths have been so abnormally above average.

Details about life inside the Australian quarantine camps are beginning to leak out through the internet. Although the information cannot be directly verified, due to the importance of this issue, The COVID World has decided to report on this story, since the Australian government is unlikely to release such information themselves.
An anonymous poster has detailed their experiences in an Australian quarantine camp. The poster claims he was confined after flying into Australia from Singapore.
Despite being vaccinated and having taken 3 negative tests on his trip, one within 24 hours that were all negative, he was forced to attend the camp.
In the post, the writer says that he was forced onto a bus with blacked-out windows by armed guards for a two-hour ride to the quarantine camp. Inmates are allegedly forced to take the vaccine, but also tested regularly and watched by cameras and armed guards. Detainees are charged $2500 for their two-week involuntary stay.
Although the inmates have internet, which is presumably monitored, GPS is blocked, making them unable to determine exactly where they are. However, other posters suggested that he was imprisoned at the Howard Springs ‘National Resilience Center’.

Kansas HB 2001 was signed into law by Kelly, a Democrat who despite initially imposing COVID-19 restrictions alongside other Democrats, has recently expressed concern about federal vaccine mandates from the Biden administration as her reelection looms.
The bill provides a wide-ranging exemption to any vaccine mandate, including obvious health exemptions, but also religious exemptions. Crucially, the employer is not permitted to question the sincerity of those requests.
If any employee is fired or faces other punishments due to their exemption, they will be able to make a complaint with the Secretary of Labor. If the employer is found guilty of violating the legislation, they could face a fine of up to $10,000 per violation if their business employees under 100 people, and up to $50,000 if they employee over 100 people. Any fired employee should also be reinstated, with back pay.
The bill also gives protections to anyone who has been fired over refusing a vaccine mandate, granting them access to unemployment benefits if they would otherwise qualify, along with including a provision that would allow them to refuse further employment at a new business that would not respect their exemption.

The sad news about Matthew Dibble below exemplifies how cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) can be easily missed by doing a CT scan of the head. A CT scan will not pick up a CVST.
MRI is used to diagnose CVST. However, not all emergency rooms have an MRI. If the patient does not have any neurological deficits and the medical provider does not suspect CVST because “the vaccines are safe”, they will be misdiagnosed, sent home, and come back with an intracranial bleed.
There’s an immense potential for a malpractice lawsuit here.
Matthew Dibble: 40-Year-Old Professional Musician Dies After Receiving AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine

LEWISHAM, LONDON – Professional musician Matthew Dibble died after suffering a brain haemorrhage shortly after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine the Dailymail reports.
Dibble had attended hospital with a minor headache in May but a CT scan did not reveal anything of concern, so he was discharged. However, two days later he was found ‘drowsy and atonic’ by his mother, who called an ambulance. Dibble was rushed to King’s College Hospital where he was diagnosed with a ‘right side haemorrhage’ caused by ‘extensive cerebral venous sinus thrombosis’.
The musician immediately underwent an emergency craniectomy, the temporary removal of part of the skull, and burr hole surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. However, he then developed further swelling, which was described as a ‘catastrophic event’ and died in hospital on May 12th.

COVID-19 has killed more people in 2021 than 2020.
The virus was reported as the underlying cause of death (or a contributing cause of death) for an estimated 377,883 people in 2020, accounting for 11.3% of deaths, according to the CDC.
As of Monday, more than 770,000 people have died from the coronavirus, according to Johns Hopkins University data. That means over 15,000 more people have died in 2021 than last year from COVID-19 – and there’s still more than a month left.
This has happened despite the fact that last year no Americans were vaccinated (now 59% of all eligible Americans have had the “life-saving” jab) and some 17% have received booster shots…
The 2021 U.S. death toll caught some doctors by surprise. They had expected vaccinations and precautionary measures like social distancing and scaled-down public events to curb the spread of infections and minimize severe cases. But, The Wall Street Journal has its own explanation, suggesting lower-than-expected immunization rates as well as fatigue with precautionary measures like masks allowed the highly contagious Delta variant to spread, largely among the unvaccinated, epidemiologists say.

The US to require vaccines for all border-crossers in January

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden will require essential, nonresident travelers crossing U.S. land borders, such as truck drivers, government and emergency response officials, to be fully vaccinated beginning on Jan. 22, the administration planned to announce.
A senior administration official said the requirement, which the White House previewed in October, brings the rules for essential travelers in line with those that took effect earlier this month for leisure travelers, when the U.S. reopened its borders to fully vaccinated individuals.
Essential travelers entering by ferry will also be required to be fully vaccinated by the same date, the official said. The official spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity to preview the announcement.
The rules pertain to non-U.S. nationals. American citizens and permanent residents may still enter the U.S. regardless of their vaccination status, but face additional testing hurdles because officials believe they more easily contract and spread COVID-19 and in order to encourage them to get a shot.

Jury Holds Walmart, CVS, Walgreens Liable In Opioid Distribution

A federal jury in Cleveland on Tuesday concluded that three retail pharmacy chains – Walmart, CVS and Walgreens – recklessly distributed massive amounts of opioids, according to AP, which adds that the verdict could ‘set the tone’ for future lawsuits brought by county governments that want to hold pharmacies accountable for their part in the opioid crisis.
The verdict supports claims by northeast Ohio’s Trumbull and Lake Counties, which claimed that the pharmacy chains failed to institute legally mandated monitoring to screen for potentially illegitimate opioid prescriptions. The counties are seeking billions of dollars in compensation to reimburse expenses related to dealing with addiction and overdoses in their communities.
