A new study showed several inflammatory markers in the blood of patients with Long COVID.
The inflammation leads to micro clots that are difficult to dissolve naturally. This leads to the extensive formation of clots.
I think this will be the exact mechanism in people who develop blood clots after mRNA COVID vaccination since the body produces the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein after the injection.
The inflammatory substances that were significantly increased in the blood were
Von Willebrand Factor, platelet factor 4, serum amyloid A, alpha-2-antiplasmin
E-selectin and platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 (PECAM-1) in the soluble part of the blood
In their experiment, adding E-selectin and PECAM-1 to healthy blood led to microclot formation and platelet hyperactivation, causing more “stickiness” and faster clot formation.
The micro clots block blood flow to several organs leading to low-oxygen levels, easy fatigue, and the sensation of low energy.
Micro clots tend to get bigger, eventually leading to total blockage of the arteries.
These long and rubbery clots can be found after autopsies and have been described by several embalmers like Robert Hirschman.
Steve Kirsch wrote an article about Mr. Hirschmann and the clots he discovered in most of the deceased that he embalmed.
The study is still in preprint and available at medRxiv. The authors are from the Department of Physiological Sciences, Stellenbosch University in South Africa, Manchester University Hospitals, and the University of Liverpool in the UK.
