Why I Changed the Site Title and Tagline

When I first launched this website in 2018, I used my name as the site title. At the time, it felt like the simplest thing to do. But recently, I realized—it doesn’t send the message I want.

To me, having my name in big letters felt a little too self-focused. That’s not what this site is about. It’s not about me. It’s about you—and how to stay healthy, strong, and free from unnecessary prescriptions.

That’s why I’ve promoted the old tagline “Don’t Get Sick” to become the official site title. It’s clear, it’s direct, and it’s what this site has always been about.

⚔️ The New Tagline: A Personal Message

You’ll also notice a new tagline underneath:
“Never give up—fight illness with strength and science.”

This line means a lot to me.

As a Filipino and a lifelong student of Filipino Martial Arts, I come from a warrior culture—one that doesn’t easily give in.

That same spirit lives in American warrior culture, where resilience, grit, and the will to fight for what matters are held in high regard. I believe that spirit should also apply to our health: we don’t surrender to illness—we fight back with strength, strategy, and science.

We shouldn’t just accept that because our parents had diabetes, heart disease, or cancer, we will too. We shouldn’t surrender to “standard guidelines” that might not work for us, and definitely shouldn’t depend on prescriptions alone.

🧬 My Story, Your Benefit

In my own family, there’s a strong history of Type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and cancer. I’ve studied these conditions in depth. I’ve made it my mission to prevent them in myself, and now I want to help you prevent them too.

Not everything I’ve tried was perfect. But I’ve learned from every mistake—and I’ll share those lessons here. Directly, and with evidence.

Because you deserve to fight illness with more than just pills.

You deserve the strength and science to take control of your health truly.

Let’s keep moving forward—together.
