Is the Covid-19 epidemic Fake News?

Many people do not believe that the current Covid-19 epidemic is real. Others think that it is blown out of proportion and sensationalized.

I will tell you that the outbreak is for real. How do I know?

BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY!

If the Covid-19 is fake news:

  1. Countries will not shut their borders to tourists and business people.
  2. Sports events will not be canceled
  3. Factories will not shut down because of one case detected.
  4. Schools and universities will continue classes. 
  5. Concerts will not be canceled.
  6. The stock market would not have lost $6,000,000,000,000 or $6 trillion this week
  7. The Dow Jones Industrial Average will not have declined by 12% this week

Governments and intelligence agencies, big time financial institutions, universities, news agencies, and large corporations have access to real information like:

  1. Human intelligence: Boots on the ground, on-site reporters with videos and audio
  2. Digital data from internet traffic and then fed thru Artificial Intelligence algorithms to give meaningful data.
  3. The information gathered are reviewed, analyzed, cross-checked, and confirmed by specialists like virologists, epidemiologists, microbiologists, and practicing physicians. These specialists are scientists who can easily spot discrepancies, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies. Then they give their recommendations to governments, corporations, and universities.

Plus, all of these institutions and individuals have a reputation to maintain.

There is NO money in losing credibility.

If you still think that the Covid-19 epidemic is fake, do so at your own risk. But remember that if you are negligent about your health and do not exercise the proper precautions, then you may get the virus and spread it to someone you care about or get sick yourself.
